SIGI MAIER - Lead Designer
Sigi is our lead designer and creative mastermind, bringing his innovative touch to every project. With experience collaborating with top footwear brands like Ecco, Birkenstock, and Puma, Sigi’s expertise spans across nearly every category of outdoor products. His ability to transform our input into outstanding designs is unmatched—every sketch he creates is done by hand, with no reliance on computer-aided design.
Inspired by the functionality and anatomy of the human body, Sigi’s designs always prioritize comfort and performance. His easygoing nature and constant smile make him a beloved figure among the team. Outside of design, Sigi has a passion for photography, always capturing moments with his camera in hand. He and his wife, Ani, share a love for travel and scuba diving, and they’re currently building yurts on their property in Portugal to welcome guests. Together with their dogs, they embrace the peaceful, nature-filled life on their land.
Bill Wirz - COO
Bill brings a well-rounded and deeply rooted perspective to the footwear industry, shaped by years of experience across sales, product testing, and retail ownership. He’s held roles at globally recognized brands, where he helped lead critical fit and wear testing processes — always with the end user in mind. From the sales floor to the lab, Bill knows shoes from the inside out.
Before his corporate journey, Bill ran his own shoe store, giving him firsthand insight into what customers really need — and what keeps them coming back. A lifelong runner and former collegiate athlete, he approaches footwear with the heart of a competitor and the curiosity of a true product geek.
Whether he's testing new designs or swapping training stories, Bill brings energy, knowledge, and a genuine passion for performance footwear to every step of the process.
Ryan Erickson - CEO
Ryan’s passion for footwear started early — as a teenager (see photo), he was already customizing his own shoes with paint and stitching, turning every pair into something original. That creative spark evolved into a career spanning sales, marketing, and brand development within the footwear industry. Over the years, Ryan has dedicated himself to understanding the business from the ground up — from consumer insights to product innovation — with the goal of building shoes that truly earn their place in people’s lives.
